Mick McIntyre - President, Services Group
Mick McIntyre joined Color Art in 1994. During his tenure with the company he has served and managed many areas of the business. He is currently President of the Services Group. The service companies include the following: Commercial Installation and Construction (CIC), Facility Management Services Group (FMSG), and Image Flooring.
Prior to joining Color Art, McIntyre spent 18 years with Steelcase. He held a variety of sales/marketing management positions. This experience, combined with time spent at Ford Motor Co. prior to joining Steelcase, formed his extensive background and expertise in product and service distribution through independently-owned dealers.
An entrepreneur, McIntyre was instrumental in the founding of FMSG in 1996 and in taking that business in the direction towards FF&E purchasing for major event centers. He also led CIC to become a full service general contracting firm, operating in 17 states in the Southeast and Midwestern United States. Additionally, McIntyre has grown Image Flooring from $2 million to over $9 million in annual sales volume. McIntyre's customer-focused approach has enabled his businesses to thrive and change throughout his tenure and he is proud to say that the service companies now represent close to 40% of the overall sales volume of Color Art.
McIntyre sits on the board of directors for the American Arbitration Association. He is actively involved with IFMA (International Facility Management Association) and serves as a deacon at his church, The Journey.
McIntyre is an active runner and is fond of collecting "antique" baseball memorabilia.
He is married to Stephanie and together they have two children and grandchildren.
