Jim Scheer - President, Innovative Technology Group
Jim Scheer made a career change to the audiovisual systems integration business just four years prior to the co-founding of Innovative Technology Group in 2001. He had spent the previous 12 years in the hospitality field working for Hilton Hotels, Ramada Inn, and Old Spaghetti Factory.
Scheer's first role at Innovative Technology Group was serving as Vice President of Sales. But, he was soon promoted to President. He has expanded the business vertically and geographically since its founding. The company now offers the following services in addition to audiovisual systems integration: unified communications, (VOIP) telephony, network infrastructure, cabling, bandwidth, and cloud computing. Moreover, the company recently opened a second branch office in Chicago, Illinois.
A graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a B.S. degree, Scheer also has attained a significant industry certification called CTS (certified technology specialist). CTS is a certification given by the ICIA (International Communications and Industries Association) and is recognized worldwide in the audiovisual industry.
Scheer enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Connie and together they have two children. His other interests are Golf, Scuba Diving, and Running.
