Gary Mindel - President, Color Art Office Interiors
Gary Mindel made an industry change when he joined Color Art in 1985 as Sales Manager for the Color Art Office Interiors. He had spent his previous years as a Sales Representative for the Service Bureau Company. But, the experiences gained at Service Bureau were transferable and served him well in his new role.
During his time with Color Art, Mindel has mentored the Color Art sales team on the importance of both building annuity relationships and constantly seeking new business opportunities. His emphasis is on building service-based relationships with clients that endure for many years to come.
After his promotion to President of Color Art Office Interiors, Mindel shifted his attention to growing the business into several vertical market segments: healthcare, education, and government. At the core of this type of vertical growth is serving the customer. Providing memorable customer experiences has been at the forefront as Color Art has moved to serve new market segments.
Additionally, he has focused his team on expanding the quality and quantity of services we offer in our Color Art Service Division. This effort has resulted in the introduction of a variety of new products and services within Color Art's offerings.
Mindel is a graduate of Marquette University with a B.S. in Business Administration as well as an M.B.A from St. Louis University. He is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and still considers himself a "Cheesehead."
Mindel serves on a number of boards including: First Bank Advisory, Magic House, Annunciation School Board, AAIM President's Council, and is Co-Chair of St. Louis County Library Foundation Gala 2011.
He enjoys golf, travel, reading, and cycling.
He is married to Mary and together they have two daughters.
